How it works

The process in full

Every mandate runs in the same order: a written brief agreed before any search begins, a sourced shortlist with provenance documents held on file, an inspection you attend in person or delegate to us, and a price presented as a ledger rather than a pitch. Nothing is committed on your behalf without your written approval.

Sourcing in Ukraine and across the European Union. Appointments are held in Kyiv or remotely.

The mandate

Brief, search, inspect, negotiate

Four stages, each one agreed in writing before it begins. You approve the brief and the shortlist. We handle the screening, the calls and the travel.

  1. 01

    Brief

A 60-minute consultation, USD 300, credited against the mandate fee if you proceed. You leave with a written brief: must-haves, tolerated compromises, budget ceiling and the markets worth searching.

You receive: the brief document within two working days.

  2. 02

    Search

Provenance screening comes first. Service history, ownership chain, accident records and factory specification are checked against the VIN before a car reaches your shortlist. Where the paperwork is thin, the car is dropped, not explained away.

You receive: a shortlist of three to five cars with provenance notes and asking prices. Availability and pricing vary and are not guaranteed.

  3. 03

    Inspect

We inspect in person across Ukraine, or commission an independent inspection in Europe: compression, paint depth, underbody, ECU fault history. Photographs and the inspector's raw notes reach you unedited.

You receive: a condition report with photographs, usually four to six weeks after the brief.

  4. 04

    Negotiate

We negotiate as your buyer's agent. The selling dealer knows we are not a customer and not their broker. Mandate fees start at USD 2,900 for a standard search and USD 6,500 for a collector mandate, agreed in writing before any search begins.

You receive: a written offer summary and a closing schedule before you commit funds.

The practice is an independent buyer-side consultancy. It does not sell cars, hold stock or accept dealer commission.

It also does not arrange credit, leasing or insurance. Those are referred to your own bank or broker.

Provenance and inspection

Paper first. Bench second. Only then a shortlist.

A car is a file before it is a machine. Nothing reaches your shortlist until the VIN record, the service history and a physical 120-point inspection agree with one another.

  1. 01

    VIN and chassis verification

We read the VIN against Ukrainian and EU registries, reconcile every recorded odometer entry, and cross-check chassis stampings, door plates and glass etching. Rebuilt titles, mismatched registration records and undisclosed accident repair surface here, not after delivery.

  2. 02

    Service and ownership history

Dealer stamps, workshop invoices, parts receipts and the number of previous keepers are read together. A gap of more than one season raises a question, and we put that question to the seller in writing before you see the car.

  3. 03

    120-point inspection

Paint depth on every panel, underbody corrosion, suspension play, brake and fluid condition, tyre dates, electronics and stored fault codes, then a cold start and a road test. Readings and photographs go into your file.

Honest boundaries

What we cannot promise

A mandate is a search, not a guarantee. These are the limits we state before you pay anything, so nothing later reads as a surprise.

Want to know what a mandate does cover? Start a brief and we will answer in plain terms.

Next step

Tell us the car you have in mind

Send your brief and we reply within one business day, Kyiv time. If the vehicle you want sits outside what we can source or verify, we will tell you before you commit to anything.

A standard mandate begins with a USD 300 consultation, credited to your mandate if we proceed.
